Changes part 11

Sorry the last two parts were so short. I promise this one will be longer and worth reading. Wondering what's happening to Elinore (note: Eli is pronounces as ellie)? Wondering who Alex and Danny are? Hmmm...So am i.

I wake up screaming. Out of fear and out of pain my screams pierce through the air. Alex is driving, Danny is sitting next to me, allowing my to lay my head in his lap.

"Its too soon Danny!" Alex screams over me in a state of panic.

"I know. I dont know what to do." Danny screams back.

"Fire! Shit. Its freezing but its BURNING!" I start freaking out.

"You're gonna have to do it Danny. Nox and Nyx have to create night. You have to. You have no choice. Its now or let her die then we'll all die." Alex exclaims.

"I..I cant. Shes so innocent. She has a life." Danny says. My chest starts to contract because of the cold.

"Cant......breathe..." I say.

"NOX! GOD DAMN IT DANNY! CREATE THE FUCKING NIGHT ALREADY! YOUVE LOST HER ONCE YOU GONNA LOOSE HER AGAIN?" Alex is screaming from fear and anger.

"Shut up Luna!" Danny says. He furiously clips a red and black tight lace bracelet on my left wrist with a blood red star on it. "I Nox, personification of night, see and feel Nyx, goddess of night, within her heart. May she rise above her in all ways and show her soul. May we once again create the night. As Luna, goddess of the moon, as my witness I give her the star bestowing on her the powers of the goddess. Hail the mighty Nyx!" The pain fades from me starting at the bracelet and moving through my body. I feel a jolt of electricity and close my eyes for s split second. I see alex parking the car in an apartment buildings hotel and comes to open Danny door.

"She okay?" She asks.

"Ill be fine if you tell me what the hell just happened." I look at my wrist. "And what the hell this is."

"Ill tell you inside." Danny says sliding out of the car. I follow him but the minuet I stand on my own I loose all the strength. Danny's arm catches me.

"Lean into me." He says. Alex is 12 steps ahead of us already, walking so fast you'd think the world was ending. We take the elevator up to the top floor and walk into their huge apartment (N12). Danny sits me on the couch and the two of them pace in front of me. Alex is first to speak. "So Eli....Im going to get straight to the point. No questions. No doubts. Just accept it. Okay?" I nod in response. "Good. Now, we came to NY is search of Nyx, the goddess of night, also know as Danny's partner. Nox need's nyx to create night. Se we set up a pirate radio station to find her. You happened to be her. Meet yourself, Nyx. Now Nyx was once alive but we lost her.....in a battle of the worlds. The Gods verse the humans. The night verse the light. We go to war alot. Currently its Gods verse Humans. We'll loose without you. "

"I guess i cant say anything." I reply slightly terrified.

"Hey..." Danny says looking into my eyes. "We're not going to leave you."

"He's right we're not. We stick together." Alex says, grabbing a hand mirror. "Wanna see yourself?" She hands me the mirror which I take. Right next to my right eye theres a small tattoo black crescent moon with 3 silver stars. My eyes are a dark blue, almost black, like the night sky.

"Woah...." I say. Unable to respond. Alex takes off the concealer next to her left eye revealing a large silver crescent moon outlined in black. Danny does the same revealing 3 stars, 1 black 2 silver.

"You're gonna have to leave your mom Eli...But i assume that excites you." Danny jokes.

"Exactly."

"You're going to have to stay here for the night and tomorrow we'll leave to go see Summanus." He says.

"Who?" I ask.

"The God of night thunder. Our boss until now." Alex explains.

"Why until now?"

"Because we found you Goddess." Danny smiles.

Changes part 10

Im in a police questioning room. Wait scratch that. Its not that because it's nicer. More elegant with comfortable restraint chairs (now isnt that an oxymoron), a single dull lit lamp and a blood red carpet. 'Why's it so cold?' I think to myself, scanning the room. The light bulb flickers. 'No no no. Please don't go out!' In fear of, insert terrible thing here, I keep all of my thoughts to myself. The light bulb magically stays on. 'HELL YES! THATS RIGHT LIGHT BULB! LISTEN TO YOUR MASTER!' The light bulb dies and i cant see anything within a centimeter from my face. Its pitch black. 'Stupid light bulb.' A second later, whatever warmth was in the room was shut off and the temperature drops to way below zero. It drops at a constant rate. The cold starts to sting my skin. 'Help me! Someone help me! Please!' The sting turns to a burning sensation. 'God Damn it!' My body slowly goes numb starting from my feet working it way up. 'HELP ME!' The creek of a large wooden door startles my thoughts along with a deep, dark, brooding voice. "No one is going to help you now Nyx. Welcome to the night."

Changes part 9

I hit the elevator button repeatedly in fury. After the elevator comes i finally cool off.

"Sorry. She always seems to piss me off" I admitt.

"Its cool. Used to happen with us more then necessary." Alex says

"Guess we're on the same page" I sigh.

"You dropped this El'" Danny says holding out the red envelope with my name on it.

I take the envelope and once it touches the skin on my hand it feels below freezing and i drop it to the floor in pain. What the hell...? When the envelope hits the floor it opens and out rolls a small device with a blinking red light and beeping noise. I look to Danny. "What is..." I'm cut off by a sight bang an a red gas comes out from the device. I start coughing furiously as Danny and Alex come to either side of me. I fall to my knees. Danny rubs my back as Alex calls people on her cell phone. Random things rush through my head. Thoughts of my father, of Danny and of Alex. Of darkness and fear. Of mystery, of pain and of pleasure. Then i black out. Again.
